Indoor Hitting Drill

One of the most important things for young baseball players is continuing to improve during the off-season. There is a very simple drill that can be done at home to help make sure that players are staying balanced during their swing. Check out to this link for a short video explanation of this drill.

Another way that this can be done is just using a mirror without a bat. The player can fold their arms across their chest, grabbing their left shoulder with their right hand, and their right shoulder with their left hand. Then, the player strides as they would during a swing, and checks to make sure that their hips are rotating properly, and that they are staying balanced throughout the swing.
